PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2025–2026 — Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia
Coordinated Armenia’s international economic cooperation agenda, including engagement with multilateral development institutions, bilateral partners, and international organizations. Coordinated and advanced Armenia–EU economic cooperation. Oversaw policy development in the areas of knowledge-based economy and intellectual property rights, as well as the development and implementation of investment programmes.
2024–2025 — American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham Armenia), Executive Director
Represented the organization and the interests of its members in relations with the Government of Armenia, the U.S. Government, international and diplomatic institutions, the business community, and AmCham’s international network. Led the organization’s advocacy, public relations, and communications agenda, developed strategic partnerships, and facilitated engagement with foreign companies and prospective investors.
2021–2023 — Asian Development Bank, Manila, Philippines, Advisor to the Executive Director
Represented and advocated for the interests of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and other constituency member countries at the Bank’s Board and in engagement with its management. Provided strategic advice to the Executive Director on the Bank’s strategic priorities, policies, and governance reforms. Reviewed and provided recommendations on the Bank’s sovereign and private sector investment projects, as well as country partnership strategies.
2021 — Government of the Republic of Armenia, Assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister
Contributed to the development of the Government Programme of the Republic of Armenia for 2021–2026. Oversaw publicly and privately financed urban development projects and coordinated the implementation of sovereign portfolio programmes carried out in cooperation with international financial institutions.
2016–2021 — Asian Development Bank Armenia Resident Mission, External Relations Coordinator
Developed external relations and communications strategies for engagement with the Government of Armenia and key stakeholders and ensured effective communication on the progress, results, and impact of ADB-financed projects. Cooperated with government institutions, international financial institutions, media outlets, non-governmental organizations, civil society, academic institutions, and private-sector representatives.
