On October 1, RA Deputy Minister of Economy Tigran Gasparyan received a delegation from Fresno, California, led by Mayor Jerry Dyer.

The delegation included Perch Apkarian, Armenia’s Honorary Consul in Fresno, as well as several members of the Fresno City Council.

At the beginning of the meeting, Tigran Gasparyan presented Armenia’s economic policy priorities, including export diversification, increasing productivity, attracting investment, and promoting the export of high-value-added products.

The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation in trade and investment, intensive agriculture, the development of industrial clusters, and the application of modern technologies in manufacturing.

The importance of organizing bilateral business-to-business (B2B) meetings was also emphasized as a means of facilitating knowledge exchange and strengthening business ties between the two sides.
